Crystal Brussels Award 2018 for the best Polish Scientist

Piotr Sankowski CEO of MIM Solutions, won the Crystal Brussels Award 2018 for the best Polish Scientist. The Crystal Brussels Award recognizes exceptional contributions to the European Union’s Framework Programmes and is awarded in various research- and innovation-related categories since 2001. It is a valued distinction among Polish scientists and entrepreneurs, recognizing their successes in science and economy that have been realized on an international level.

MIM Solutions was launched as a spin-off of the University of Warsaw’s Algorithms Group, directed by prof. Piotr Sankowski. The company has brought together experts passionate about solving practical algorithmic problems efficiently, and this has finally evolved towards machine learning. Although MIM Solutions is not a part of the university now, we are still in tight cooperation.
